Here’s what you’ll learn about…

  • How China is weaponising its monopoly over critical minerals — and why this is creating an urgent investment opportunity for Australians...
  • The 5 ASX-listed companies racing to build alternative supply chains
    — as governments pour billions into breaking Chinese monopolies
  • How these strategically essential stocks are still trading at multi-year lows — despite holding assets the West desperately needs (note: this setup will not last for long!)
  • Why the Aussie and US governments are virtually guaranteeing these companies meet production by throwing billions of dollars at them.
  • The compelling opportunity presented to early investors in these companies  from the mineral independence scramble.

Dear reader,

In October 2025, the People’s Republic of China released ‘Announcement 61’.

A devastating political attack against the Western world in retaliation to Donald Trump’s tariffs…

…and it’s created one of the most compelling investment opportunities in decades for Australians like you and me.

That’s because Announcement 61 gives China the right to stop the sale of ANY product around the world if it contains any traces of Chinese rare-earth elements.

For example, a manufacturer in Germany would need permission from China to sell its products if it contained even just 0.1% of Chinese rare earths.

Which is a bloody huge
deal for the world!

Because rare earths are found in nearly every form of advanced technology…

From electric vehicles… to AI computer chips… to military weapons… to your smartphone, laptop, and TV.

All up, analysts estimate that $6.5 trillion worth of global manufacturing depends on Chinese rare earths.

And with China currently producing an estimated 90% of all rare-earth materials in the world…

Announcement 61 essentially gives China an ‘off switch’ for $6.5 trillion worth of the world’s most important industries.

Imagine China being able to tell weapons manufacturer, Lockheed Martin, that it can’t build any more fighter jets for the U.S. military!

As you can imagine, Announcement 61 poses a massive new risk to America and the rest of the western world.

Which is why President Trump personally flew to South Korea to meet Chinese president Xi Jinping after Announcement 61…

Where China agreed to put a pause on the new law for one whole year.

That pause ends less than a month from now on November 10th, 2026.

Which is why the West is scrambling to set up a new supply of rare-earth minerals outside China.

And as it just so happens…

Those minerals can be found

underneath Australian soil!

Buried under our red dirt is the second biggest supply of rare earths outside of China.

We’ve also got some of the world’s largest deposits of other critical minerals like lithium, cobalt, and nickel… all just sitting under the soil waiting to be dug up.

In short: the race is on to build alternative supply chains outside Chinese control…and all eyes are squarely on Australia.

And that hands you what could be one of the investment opportunities of the decade.

Australia holds the resources the West desperately needs.

And a handful of Aussie companies are already pivoting to meet that demand.

In my free new investor briefing I’m going to tell you exactly which stocks they are — before the mainstream wakes up to what’s happening.

They include:

  1. STOCK #1: The only significant rare earth producer outside China, with a signed letter of intent from the United States Department of War for nearly $100 million worth of rare earths over the next four years.
  2. STOCK #2: A Western Australian refinery with $1.65 billion in government loans — positioning itself as the alternative to Chinese processing facilities.
  3. STOCK #3: Gina Rinehart’s $60 million rare earth bet, with $1.6 billion in government funding and offtake deals signed with major buyers like Hyundai, Kia, and Siemens.
  4. STOCK #4: A promising early-stage explorer sitting on potentially the second-largest supply of niobium in Australia and $25 million in early funding. This is the most speculative pick of the list, but could generate the biggest upside if the company’s imminent drill results come back positive.
  5. STOCK #5: A Western Australian rare earth developer sitting on some of the world’s richest concentrations of heavy rare earths — with capital costs a fraction of what the rest of the industry has.

While most investors chase

overpriced AI stocks…

Gina Rinehart — the "queen of mining" and Australia’s richest woman — has been quietly snapping up over $3 billion worth of rare earth companies in the past few years.

In fact, she’s heavily invested in two of the companies on the list I want to send you today for free.

And she’s not the only one.

The Australian government has built a strategic reserve for critical minerals, offered billion-dollar loans, and committed billions more to ports, exploration, and onshore processing.

The Pentagon is signing supply deals and offering billion-dollar loans to any Western producer that can break China’s grip.

And Japan, South Korea, Germany, and the EU are all scrambling to lock in offtake agreements with Australian miners before it’s too late.

These people don’t move this kind of money on a hunch. This is coordinated action by insiders who see what’s coming before the headlines catch up.

What they know — what I want you to understand — is this:

  1. The world needs a new mineral supply chain outside of China — and fast
  2. Critical mineral demand is projected to rise tenfold in the coming decades
  3. That means we need new critical mineral mines… NOW. And Australia is one of the few places on earth able to provide those resources.

All this has created a rare investment window for you:

The report you’re about to read reveals five companies already positioning themselves at the heart of this shift.

But why should you
listen to me?

I’m James Cooper — a geologist turned mining analyst with more than 15 years of hands-on experience in the field.

...

At Barrick Gold, I led exploration teams and ran multimillion-dollar drill programs.

I was on the ground during the $7.6 billion takeover of Equinox Minerals, watching firsthand how major deals reshape markets.

I’ve worked across Australia and Africa for companies large and small — including Crosslands Resources and Northern Star — covering everything from early-stage exploration to advanced resource development.

I bridge the gap between geology and finance. I know what’s in the ground, what it takes to get it out — and how that translates into real investor opportunity.

Today, I’m the lead commodities analyst at Fat Tail Investment Research, where I write for more than 10,000 readers who pay as much as $3,000/year for my work.

Here’s what a few of them say:

"James is fantastic. Very well written and his perception of the macro-economic and geopolitical environment is impressive… He’s easily up there with the best of the rest of you and one of my favourite analysts. GOAT!" — Marko M.

"Have bought a few of your [stock recommendations]… and very happy with about a 50% gain and getting excited about making more. I read all your reports and value your insights." — Anthony W.

"I love James’ method and the way he explains his positions. I have made money on average and look forward to some of the high gains which I believe will be forthcoming." — Richard M.

Like I said, some of my readers pay as much as $3,000 to access my work.

But given the scale of this opportunity… and how fast it’s taking place, I want to give everyday Australians like you a chance to take part.

That’s why I want to send you a copy of my new report, completely free.

It’s called Australia’s War Chest: A Guide to Investing In The Critical Minerals Power Games.

And inside, you’ll find the names and tickers of each of the five ASX-listed companies I’ve identified… each of which I believe are strategically positioned as the West scrambles to rebuild its mineral independence.

This Could Be Your Chance to
Position Early in Australia’s
Next Resource Boom

The last time we saw a mining boom like this was in the early 2000s.

Back then, China’s industrial rise triggered an iron ore boom that made Australia one of the world’s wealthiest nations.

At the time, millions of people were moving from rural farmland to China’s rapidly growing cities.

That meant new roads, towers, power plants, bridges — all built with Australian iron ore.

And some of the companies that sold those metals saw significant growth:

Fortescue Metals — a junior iron ore company trading at just $0.02 — soared to nearly $10.

That’s a gain of almost 50,000%.

...

That’s an outlier. Unlikely to be repeated. But it wasn’t just Fortescue.

BHP shares surged 550% from $6 to $40.

...

Rio Tinto jumped 469% from $8 to $45.

...

And dozens of smaller mining companies delivered huge returns to investors who recognised the opportunity early.

Not all mining companies soared like thee and while it’s unlikely many investors caught those whole moves…

Today, an eerily similar pattern is playing out.

Only this time it isn’t just one country that wants our metals…

It’s dozens of them across the world.

That puts you, right now, in front of an incredibly rare investment window.

Government funding is already beginning to flow into strategic projects right here in Australia.

Experienced investors are already making their move.

Because once the mainstream recognises this mining power shift, and institutional capital floods these strategic plays... your advantage will likely disappear.
